Sending out birthday wishes to contacts

How can I create a segment that gives me all contacts with birthdays in, say, the next week? I have tried using Birth Date but this does not give me any contacts in the segment (as they weren't born this week I assume?). 

There does not appear to be a field that is birthday only for filtering on. Any ideas?

  Hi Jannai, 

  At the moment the Birth Date filter will be also using the year so if you select last week it will give you the contacts that have the birth date of last week.

  In this case, I would suggest exporting your data and adding a tag to your contacts based on their birthday month: January birthday, February birthday, etc. Then you can filter by the tag and be able to filter and create segments by the birthday month!

  Hi Stefania - is it possible to send emails out on each contact's birthday itself? Or do you have to do it by tagging someone based on their birth month and schedule send on a day during that month.
