    Hey Carole,

    In the reports section you can create a dashboard for a custom donations report. Add a date received filter to that and then in the calculations tab of the dashboard add the "number of donations" calculation.

    Thanks, Spencer. If I do that, I get the total, but I should have added that I'm trying to get it by donor. For example, for our regular givers, we're trying to identify milestones that include the number of donations made. It's not vital but a nice to have.

    Oh I see, the best I could find is exporting the Total (lifetime) Donations and the Average (lifetime) Donation and then dividing Total / Avg to get the # of gifts (lifetime) but I don't see any way to restrict that to a specific time period.

    A less elegant way would be to export all the transactions from that period of time and then use the CountIF function in excel to count the number of times the contact ID pops up in the transaction list. You could then filter the CountIF column to see which donors have hit those milestones.
