email receipt and pdf header size
Support has been really . . . supportive . . . but can't find a solution, am I the only one with this problem?
We have a rectangular logo (much wider than tall) so need to use a header image rather than a logo image for our communications. If we size our header graphic to look right in the receipt PDF, it's cut off in the body of the email (only shows about a third of the image). If it's sized for the body of the email, it's very, very small -- and left justified -- in the PDF.
I just learned that we can't turn off receipting of online gifts so even if we wanted to do receipts separately via export and mail merge (which we definitely don't), we couldn't.
Has anyone run into this issue? Found a workable solution? Right now I can't see how we can use Keela for online gifts without sending receipts without it looking like we missed a glaring, totally unprofessional error in the layout.

I am having this same issue, but I have not found a workaround. I tried turning off the logo and embedding the logo in a png header; however, the header shows differently on the printed and email receipts. This could be solved if they would allow different graphics for the printed and email receipts, but it would have to be fixed on Keela's end. Definitely makes our receipts look unprofessional.

My next (last?) attempt at a partial fix is going to be to use two daily direct marketing communications, one email and one snail mail, sending to a "gift entered today" tag with a properly formatted gift acknowledgement containing the information as we want to put it to contributors, hence skipping the receipt function entirely. Of course that means we can't yet do our online gift processing through Keela since they don't let you turn off auto-receipting (why?!) but it might work for now. If they can't get it fixed we'll be taking our business elsewhere when the contract is up. Everything else with Keela is proving solid but this is a total showstopper.

Similar issue here. How did you turn off the logo? I wanted to do that so we could use our letterhead when printing them, but I was told that turning off the logo was impossible. I hear you on the unprofessional -- it would be great to be able to customize receipts more. The consolidated receipt for monthly donors iooks awful and is three pages. Keela is great in so many ways but that's a weak point for me.

To turn off the logo, you go to the organizational settings under your name in the upper right corner. From there, you click on the "Receipts & Email" tab. The very first option says Logo and Header. Click on the "Edit" button on the top right and then delete your logo. I tried this and just uploaded a header that had my logo on the left side. It seems to work because the email only uses the left side of my header. But it is a workaround and kind of clunky. Keela needs to offer more improvement and customization of their receipting so that our organization can look more professional.

That does indeed work if your logo is the right shape. Only working with square logos is what's killling us. Ours is 736x112 and when scaled down to fit as a logo it looks ridiculous. I played around with logo sizing on a white background of various sizes and I can get it to appear bigger and looking ok-ish in the email, but the PDF has a mid-sized logo that looks totally misaligned. Bigger, but still no good.
