Official Tax Receipt Calculations

As a registered Charity, we must print and calculate each official tax receipt issued in a Calendar year.

In Keela, How do we calculate the total amount of Official Charitable donations? I was able to download a copy of the receipts. However, there are quite a few. Is Keela able to calculate the total figure for using a report?

  Hi Sean,

  Nicole here! 

  In Keela, all transactions logged as Donations are eligible for tax receipts. Therefore, you can calculate the total amount of these donations for a calendar year by generating a Custom Donations Report. I'd recommend checking out this Knowledge Base article which outlines the step-by-step process for generating a transaction report for a certain time period: Popular Transaction Reports (see all donations within a certain time period).

  You can then use the Report's Overview and/or Calculations tabs to have Keela automatically provide the sum of those donations within that time period.
