Creating segment for active recurring donors in specific impact area

What filters would I use to create a segment for active recurring donors in a specific impact area? I have the following:

DONATION SUBSCRIPTIONS FILTERS - Active vs. Lapsed - Active

I then tried adding the following to limit it to donors in a specific impact area:

FUNDRAISING TRANSACTIONS FILTERS - Contains any of - (impact area)

However, doing this also brought in recurring donors in other impact areas who have made one-time donations to the specific impact area in the past. Any input on how to limit it to active recurring donors in that impact area?

  Hi Rebekah, 

  Thanks for sending over your question! 

  I would recommend creating 3 segments so that you can get the data that you are looking for. 

  Segment 1 - Active Recurring Donors

  Segment 2 - Any transaction linked to that Impact Area. 

  Segment 3 - You add those 2 segments as the filters for the segment.

  Thank you for taking the time to help, Stefania!

  Even with the segmentation you suggested, I'm still finding that it brings in donors who have made a one-time donation to that impact area (segment 2) but are recurring donors in another impact area (segment 1). I would like to filter it down to just the recurring donors in a specific impact area, if possible!

  Hi Rebekah, 

  This is a while ago now and you might have worked it out but I'd suggested checking whether your filter settings are "Filter for contacts that match               All                       Any          of these conditions:" rather than "Any". That could be what is letting those other Impact Areas through when you search for Active Recurring Donors.
