Best Practices: When a Company Closes

When a person dies, I can mark them deceased. 

What is the Company equivalent of doing that? They obviously shouldn't be removed from the database if they have a giving history.

Do Keela users just move all the contact information into a Notes field and hope that by having no contact information, they won't show up on mailing lists?

  Hey Pamela,

  Thanks for sending your question! 

  Right now, we only offer the "deceased" functionality for individual contacts. However, you can also opt them out from any email communications!

  If there's no email address on the contact, Keela will not send them any emails.
