Once you've created your workflow, you can customize it by adding a starting point and multiple stages.
In this article, we'll look at an example of how you might build a Welcome Email that can be sent to new Contacts who have been added to your Keela account after the Workflow has been made live.
Scenario: A new Contact has been added to my Keela account. I would like to send them a Welcome Email if that Contact has a Primary Email address and has Opted In to receive emails. If they don't have a primary address or have not Opted In, I would like one of my team members to manually reach out to them for the Welcome (and to see if we can collect this information!)
Choose a Starting Point
Click Choose a Starting Point
Click Contacts > Click Add beside New Contact Added
Customize your Entry Points by letting Keela know exactly when a new Contact should be added to this workflow.
1. Manually Logged In-app - When a new Contact was manually added to your account by you or a team member
2. Donation Forms - When a new Contact is added to your account because they filled in any Donation Form.
3. Revenue Forms - When a new Contact is added to your account because they filled in any Revenue Form.
4. Membership Forms - When a new Contact is added to your account because they filled in any Membership Form
5. Subscription Forms - When a new Contact is added to your account because they filled in any Subscription Form
6. Custom Forms - When a new Contact is added to your account because they filled in any Custom Form
7. Specific Forms - When a new Contact is added to your account because they filled in any of the specific forms you select from the drop down here.
Hint: If in doubt, choose Manually Logged In-app and Specific Forms! It's better to be specific.
Adding Stages
If/Else Stage : Filters - Primary Email & Opted In
Click Add a Stage
Click If/Else > Click Add
Click Add a New Filter > Add the below Filters & Filter Logic Conditions > Click Save
The If/Else Stage has created a Yes/No path for your Contacts to move down. Next, we'll let Keela know what the next stage of each path should be.
Action Stage: Send Email - Welcome
Click on the Plus (+) sign beneath the Yes path
Click Actions > Click Add beside Send Email
Customize your Email > Click on your Workflow link at the top to return to your Workflow when you're done

Action Stage: To-Do
Click on the Plus (+) sign beneath the No path
Click Actions > Click Add beside Add To-Do
Customize your To-Do > Click Save
