We've heard all of your feedback regarding recurring transactions and I am very happy to share that we have some new enhancements!
Editing Recurring Transactions - Stripe Only
Within this enhancement, there are two new actions that you can now perform on your Active recurring donations or revenue subscriptions:
Change the credit card associated with a subscription
You can change the credit card associated with the recurring transaction by clicking edit credit card and a new screen will pop up and you can enter the new credit card number. This will change the credit card that is automatically charged for this recurring transaction.
Change the receipt settings associated with a subscription
You can now also change the receipt settings associated with a recurring transaction. You can change it to either a single receipt per transaction or a cumulative receipt at the end of the year. Once you change it, it will change the setting for all future receipts, not past ones.
Cancellation of Recurring Transactions and Memberships
Keela will now add a notification for users if a contact either cancels their recurring transaction or if there is an error when processing the payment. The notification will now tell the user who canceled the scheduled recurring transaction (either a user or the contact itself).
Payment Failure Notification
If there is a payment failure on a scheduled recurring transaction or on membership renewals, a new notification will be triggered if the transaction failed to process. This will be with both Stripe and PayPal.
