Have you sent your Email Marketing and it is showing a different number Recipients than you expected? We are here to help!
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
When you fill out the 'To' field for Email Marketing, you will be prompted to select your Recipients. You will notice that there is a check-box with the option to 'Send to email addresses with unknown subscription status'.
If most of your Contacts have an 'Unknown' subscription status, we advise that you make sure this check-box is ticked. Curious why your many of your contacts might have an 'Unknown' subscription status? Head to Why are many of my Contacts' Email Subscription Statuses "Unknown"?
Likewise, any contact who has "Opted-Out" will also be automatically removed from your recipient list.
If a contact has "No" for Solicitation, they will be automatically excluded from your recipient list.
Primary Email Address
Keela uses Primary Email Address to send out Email Marketing Communications. If your contact does not have a Primary Email Address, they will be removed from the recipient list.
If a contact has been marked as "Hard Bounced" they will automatically be removed from your email list to preserve your sender score. You can learn more about this Email Statistic, and how to unbounce contacts here:
