When it comes to fundraising and managing your transactions, Keela has designed labeling tools that make it easy to organize, track and report on your payments. You can apply labels to your transactions and payments when manually adding them in the Keela system, or when importing records via a CSV.
You can also connect labels such as Campaigns and Impact Areas directly to your Donation Forms and Revenue Forms so that any funds that are received through them are automatically applied to these buckets.
What labels are available for transactions and volunteer records?
Impact Areas
Impact Areas are the specific areas or causes within your business that a Donation, Revenue, or Volunteer record can be applied to.
Donation/Revenue Impact Areas = Where is your donor/payee contributing their funds to? Have they advised you of a specific area of your organization that they would like their funds to go to?
Volunteer Activity Impact Areas = Where in your organization did a volunteer contribute their time to? Did they help out with a specific weekly task that you run?
Examples of Impact Areas:
- Programs that your organization runs

- Workshops
- Meal deliveries for the community
- Specific Items

Source
The source label is used to describe where the funds or Volunteer activity came from. It's a way of keeping track of your presence in the community and can even be used for lead generation!
Donation/Revenue Sources = Where did these funds come from? Were they a result of an external organization that endorsed your work? Did they come from a specific payment system outside of Keela?
Volunteer Activity Sources = Where in the community did this volunteer come from? Were they from a business or company? What inspired them to volunteer their time with you?
