That's where Donor Score comes in!
What is a Donor Score?
It's a score built specifically for your Contacts who have at least one donation on their profile. Keela examines several factors of the donor's giving history to determine the overall donation value that they have to your Organization.
Some of these factors include:
- The average total amount of donations the contact makes each year
- The number of years that the donor has been contributing to your organization
- Whether there has been an increase in these contributions in the last year
Donor Score Levels
There are three levels associated with Donor Scores that provide information about where your donor stands in relation to your other donors, as well as tips on how to move forward with this donor.
Champion
This status refers to those who fall in the top 33% of donors in your organization!
This status indicates it may be a good time to reach out and thank this donor for supporting your organization. Make sure they know much you value and appreciate their support!
Promising
This status refers to those who fall between your top 33% of donors and the lowest 33% percent of donors.
This status indicates it may be a good time to take a look at what impact areas this donor has given to in the past and let them know how their donations have made a difference.
Needs More Love
This status refers to those who fall in the bottom 33% of donors in your organization.
This status indicates it may be a good time to reach out to this donor to share exciting updates and stories of impact at your organization. Build a relationship with them by learning why they gave to your organization in the past to better steward them in the future.
Lifetime Value
Accompanying each Donor Score is a prediction of how much this Contact might contribute to your organization in their lifetime with your organization based on the Donor Score calculations.
