Contact Automations
(1) Contact Information
If someone who orders tickets or attends your event isn't already in your contact list in Keela, not to worry, Keela's automated features are on it!
When you import an event, orders and attendees for each event you import will automatically be created as contacts in Keela. For previously existing contacts, Keela looks for any additional information they gave when registering for your event and automatically updates the contact!
We import the following data for the contact profile (corresponding Keela fields shown in parentheses if named differently):
- Prefix (Title)
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
- Home Phone (Primary Phone)
- Cell Phone (Additional Phone)
- Website
- Birthdate
- Gender
- Home Address (Primary Address)
- Work Address (Secondary Address)
(2) Contact Interactions
When a contact orders tickets or attends one of your events, it is automatically added to the interactions tab located within each individual contact.
This allows you to keep track of all the events that a particular contact attended. To discover some of the other cool interactions Keela keeps track of, head on over to Interactions!
How does Keela handle duplicates with the EventBrite integration?
When you import an event using the EventBrite integration, EventBrite Contacts will be matched to any existing Keela Contacts based on email address only. The Contact Name will not be considered.
When a duplicate contact is found, Keela will overwrite* existing data on the Keela contact with the updated information provided in EventBrite.
