There are a lot of different tabs that can be accessed from within a Campaign in Keela. In this article, we'll be looking at the Email Marketing tab.
What is Email Marketing?
Email Marketing is a tool that is built into our Communications Tool that can be used to create and send mass emails such as newsletters and fundraising campaigns. In this context, Email Marketing would be the mass emails that you send out letting them know about your Campaign and providing them with an opportunity contribute!
Create Email Marketing & Associate Campaign
There are a couple of different ways to create Email Marketing and associate it with your Campaign, depending on where you are in the system.
From within your Campaign
After Creating your Campaign and navigating to the Email Marketing tab, click on the Create Email Marketing button.
Hint: If you already have existing Email Marketing connected to your Campaign, the 'Create Email Marketing' button will be in the top right of the list of Email Marketing.
Once you click 'Create Email Marketing' head to our Name Email Marketing article section for information about each field.
From the Email Marketing Tab
You can also create a new Email Marketing directly from the Email Marketing tab in Keela. You can find a complete guide on how to do this in our Create Email Marketing.
Tip: Ensure that you connect your Email Marketing to your Campaign when you are creating a new Email Marketing.
Navigating the Email Marketing Tab
Once an Email Marketing (whether it's a Draft or it's been Sent) has been associated with your Campaign, it will appear under the Email Marketing tab of the Campaign. Below is a breakdown of the sections within this overview page.
1) Name Column
Here you'll see the name of your Email Marketing that was defined when it was created. Click on the Email Marketing to access more information about it.
2) Email Marketing Statistics Columns
View the latest statistics of any Sent Email Marketing in these columns.

3) Status Column
Here you will be able to view the status of your Email Marketing:
- Draft - Your Email Marketing has been created, but not sent.
- Sent - Your Email Marketing has been sent to its recipient list.
- Scheduled - Your Email Marketing has been scheduled to be sent at a specific time.
4) Actions Button
Want to archive or delete one or more Email Marketing pieces that appear on this list? You can single select an Email Marketing or multi-select. To select in bulk, you can click on the drop-down arrow in the top left where you'll be given the option to select all on this page, all Email Marketing associated with this Campaign, or to deselect all.
Once you have made a selection, you will notice an Actions button appears where you can 'Archive' or 'Delete' your selected Email Marketing.
5) Search Bar
Looking for a specific Email Marketing? Don't see this Email Marketing at the top of your list? Enter the first word or letters of the Email Marketing in the search bar to narrow down the list.
6) Filters Button
Have a lot of Email Marketing? Only want to see a specific type of Email Marketing status? Look no further! Here you can filter the types of Email Marketing that appear in your list.
7) Create an Email Marketing Button
You're well versed in how to create an Email Marketing from your Campaign by now, but it never hurts to remind you where the Create Email Marketing button is located in the Email Marketing tab!
