Create a new Project
Navigate to Projects in the left menu and then click the bright purple button Create Project.
Add all the project details:
- Name - The name of your project
- Description - Details for your project
- Due Date - A deadline for your project
- Priority - Use this to help manage your projects
- Members - Other Keela users on your team who can follow project tasks, discuss, and share files with you. Please note that only users who are Members of a Project will have access to the Project. If a user is not a Member of a Project, they will not be able to view the Project.
Click the "Create" button at the bottom right of the screen. Now, you're ready to get started!
Editing Project Information
- Navigate to Projects in the left menu and then choose a project for editing.
- Click the Menu button in the Project Overview and Edit Information.
Project Actions
Duplicate a Project
One of the options when editing a project is to duplicate a project. This will come in handy for any projects that are similar or possibly events that you hold each year with the same tasks involved. You'll never have to write out the individual tasks twice!
- Follow the steps above to navigate to the project edit menu
- Select the Duplicate option
- Make any edits as required in the information card and click "Duplicate"
- You can now make any other needed changes to the project
Archive a Project
Sometimes you just have way too many projects and they can be difficult to manage in the All Projects summary screen. That's where archiving comes in handy! With the archive tool, you can push a project to the side but it will always be available for future reference.
To archive a project:
- Follow the steps above to navigate to the project edit menu
- Select the Archive option
- Click the purple Archive button
Where is the archive?
Click on Projects in the left-hand menu and then the tab Archive.
Delete a Project
Warning: This will permanently delete a project in Keela. If you need a record of this project, consider archiving or completing the project.
- Select the Delete option (through the project overview menu or action button on the project summary page
- Click the purple Delete button after reviewing the warning
Changing the Status of a Project
There are 2 project statuses:
- Ongoing
- Complete
A project status can be changed through the Project Overview Menu or through the Action button on the project summary page.

Project Notifications
Click the Notifications Bell to choose your preferred notification settings. Don't forget to check your Personal Notification settings as well!
