What platforms can Keela connect with through Zapier?
Zapier has over 5,000 platforms available to pull data from. Keela can connect with any platform that collects contact or one-time transaction information.

If we pull in contact or transaction information through Zapier, how does Keela manage duplicates?
Keela manages duplicates coming through Zapier the same way we would through submission through Keela forms. If Keela can identify a pre-existing contact via Primary Email, the incoming transaction information is merged with that matching contact. If Keela doesn't find a match via Primary Email, Keela creates a new contact record (and transaction record where relevant) is created.
When creating a Zap in Zapier, we also provide the option to manage ‘form field replacement logic’; if the contact information coming from Zapier already exists in Keela, you can choose if you want to replace existing data with new data.
Important note: Contact matching only works when pulling in Transactional Data! It does not work when pulling in Contacts through Zapier.
Can Zapier retroactively pull in information from a platform into Keela (i.e. historical data)?
Contacts: it is not possible to capture historical events that collect contact information. When you create a contact Zap (e.g. via form submission), it will only capture data from the time the Zap is published, onward. If you would like to import the historical data from your external platform into Keela, head to Importing Data.
Transactions: Depending on the external platform you choose as your Trigger, you may be able to sync historical transaction data into Keela, while also triggering new data to flow into Keela. Note this will apply to one-time transaction only. To pull in historical data, pay close attention to the 'Event' option when Setting up Your Trigger.
Can I edit a Zap after creating and publishing it?
You sure can! All of your Zaps can be found on your Zapier account home page. To manage a Zap > click on the Zap from the home page. From here you can:
- View the details of your Zap
- Toggle your Zap on/off
- Edit your Zap: note you can edit a Zap while it is toggled on, the edits will be in draft format until you publish the updated version; this way you do not lose critical information.
Head to Zapier's articles on Managing Zaps and Editing Zaps for more information.
Can I send information from Keela to my other platforms using Zapier?
At the moment, Keela's Zapier integration is a one-way integration, meaning that information can only be sent from an external platform > to Zapier > to Keela. You can not push information from Keela into other apps via Zapier.
